Gagnon Overhead Door Ltd. is seeking an Installer/Technician to join their team of passionate garage door professionals.

- Experience in the field of mechanics (an asset)
- Experience in the field of electric door openers (an asset)
- Comfortable working outdoors 12 months a year
- Able to lift heavy loads
- Physically be able to lift 50lbs or above
- Criminal background check
- Clean drivers abstract
- Class 5 drivers license needed
- Not afraid of Heights
- Whmis 2015
- Fall arrest
- Forklift and Scissor lift training needed or will need to be obtained
- Install garage doors of a variety of sizes and styles
- Service and maintain garage doors
- Adjust and test equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Repair or replace worn or broken door parts using hand tools
- Disassemble equipment for maintenance or repair
- Ability to wire/unwire low voltage commercial garage door motors
- Trouble shoot garage door motor issues and high-speed doors
- Mechanical and technical skills, with a willingness to continue learning
- Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time
- Possess interpersonal skills to relate to customers and solve issues
- Performs other duties as required

- Computer literate
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills

- Ability to occasionally travel and be on a On-Call rotation
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Experience with customer relationship management software
